Judge Denies Bond, OK’s Extradition

Ocmulgee District Judge Terry Massey presided over seven cases each in civil and criminal sessions last week in Jasper Superior Court.

Most of the cases on the docket were continued but the judge did take action to deny bond for Quantez Jackson who has warrants for fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, obstruction of an officer, possession of a schedule I & II substances, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

The denial was made on the basis that the defendant poses a significant threat or danger to another person, and or the community, according to the court papers filed in superior court.

Judge Massey also signed an order to have Cody A. Clark extradited to Indiana to face previous charges there.
