Kenneth Michael ‘Mike’ Cuthbertson

Kenneth Michael “Mike” Cuthbertson, age 73, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Pruitt Health-Toomsboro in Toomsboro.

Kenneth Cuthbertson was born on March 8, 1947 in Charlotte, N.C. His parents were the late Loyde Russell and Nancy Sue Williams Cuthbertson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Monte Russell Cuthbertson and nephew, Andy Cuthbertson.

Kenneth lived in Conyers before moving to Monticello in 2011. He served in the U.S. Army in the 101st AirBorne Division during the Vietnam Conflict. After retiring from the army, Kenneth worked as a security officer.

Kenneth was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Conyers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Adams Cuthbertson of Monticello; daughters, Cindy (Donnie) Clendenin of Monticello and Melinda (Jepi) Moore of Walnut Grove; grandchildren, Abbi Moore, Michael Clendenin, Grace Ann Clendenin and Hailey Moore; niece and nephews, Missy Cuthbertson, Russ (Jennifer) Cuthbertson and Drew (Faith) Cuthbertson; and great-nephews, Mason Mawyer, Morgan Mawyer and Jaxson Cuthbertson.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 255 Madison Road in Monticello. Rev. David Artessa will officiate.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Pruitt Health-Toomsboro 210 Main Street, Toomsboro, Ga. 31090 for the activities department.
