Virginia Mae Tollison Pendley

Virginia Mae Tollison Pendley, age 69, of Braselton, passed away at the Mountain Breeze Personal Care Home in Demorest.

Virginia Pendley was born in Russellville, Ala. to the late Hoyt Tollison and Pauline Corder Tollison. In addition to her parents, step-son, William Ronald “Billy” Pendley; and brothers and sister, J. R. Tollison, Carl Tollison, Louie Tollison, Henry Tollison, Perry Tollison and Doris Moore preceded her in death.

Virginia met Ronald in 1982 and they married in 1983. They lived in Milstead, until moving to Braselton in 1990. She was a member of Gainesville Church of God and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wayne Pendley of Braselton; children, Sandra Hinkelman, Tanya Robinson, Frankie Mote and Chasen Mote of Braselton; grandchildren, Austin Mote, Danielle Hinkelman, Devin Hinkelman and K. J. McCoy; two great-grandchildren and sisters, Betty Proffitt and Sue Leazer of Mansfield and Faye Haney of Winder.

A graveside service was held on August 3, 2020, at Williams Payne Cemetery. Nick Nixon officiated.
