ATHLETIC COMPLEX IS READY

The Jasper County Board of Education received a certificate of occupancy (CO) for the new athletic complex last Friday, with the agreement that there are still a few minor things to be completed. Supt. Kenny Garland said that the school will begin moving equipment and such in the week of July 6. Weather permitting, graduation will be held at the new football field which is located behind Jasper County High School at 14477 Hwy. 11 North. The complex includes new softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, a regulation track, and a new football stadium with seating for 3,500.
