Jafus Lewis Strozier
A celebration of life homegoing service was held for Jafus Lewis Strozier, Jr., on Saturday, march 28, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Hampton. Rev. Henry Bernard Miller officiated.
Mr. Strozier was born May 1, 1964 in Griffin, to the late Jafus Lewis Strozier, Sr. and Helen Gardner Tucker.
Early in life Jafus joined Zion Baptist Church in Hampton. On March 23, 2020, God called him to join Him and take a much needed rest.
So many precious memories will always be cherished by his loved ones, daughter, Perssia Ellis; granddaughter, Lashae Davis; two brothers, Randy (Melissa) Strozier of Monticello, and Gary (Alaine) Strozier of Goldsboro, N.C.; a sister, Silene Strozier of Rex; three uncles, Terry, Johnny Robert Gardner and Charles Owens; seven aunts, Geraldine (Bobby) Sloan, Johnnie Ruth (Andrew) McCord, Rosa Stroud, Dorsel Allen, Claudia Knight, Attwa Strozier and Chole Strozier. Jafus also leaves a host of nephews, nieces and friends, including a very special friend, Keiwanta Mains.
Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
