GRAND PRIZE WINNER

Stephanie Pittman (center) who had six chances on the Grand Prize honor roll is the winner! Her name was chosen by Harper Tanner Saturday on the Square, when The Monticello News went Facebook Live courtesy of the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce.

Little Harper drew and read the name, and word got to Mrs. Pittman. She and her husband, Rusty, came to The News office Monday to collect their prize.

Mr. Pittman will be attending the game with children, as Mrs. Pittman who is a nurse/midwife is on call that day. They say they are huge football fans, so they are looking forward to seeing the LSU/Oklahoma matchup.

The football contest is a family affair in their household, and Mrs. Pittman was the leader of the family with six chances. Some others had more, but only one could win. She received four commemorative tickets to the Chick-Fil-A/Peach Bowl as well as a gift box and more.
