Thefts Are Investigated

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated a couple of burglaries in the last week, including one where items were taken from a storage building in Mansfield. Also, a catalytic converter was reported stolen from an address in Shady Dale. In addition, cash was taken from an address on Culver Street.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Nicholas Fernell Epps, 20, Forsyth—armed robbery.

•Agarion O. Watson, 17, Jackson—armed robbery.

•Kyle Scott Stiles, 27. Mansfield—theft by taking.

•Crystal Michelle Thomas, 42, Rutledge—false statements and writings; concealment of facts, no drivers license on person and failure to maintain lane.

•Marshall Carter Israel, 17, McDonough—theft by shoplifting.

•Atravion Cronde Strickland, 19, Jackson—theft by taking.

•Roland Brently Beatty, 40, Covington—burglary and probation violation (two counts).

•David Austin Pfeiffer, 19, Newborn—battery.
