Several Are Arrested Here During Week

Jasper County deputies had a relatively light week last week, with only a few thefts reported and few people arrested.

There was a report of theft of a refrigerator from an address on RedStart Court. In addition, there was a report of forgery/bad check at 3 Short Street, dating back to October. There was also a report of financial transaction card fraud on Herring Gull Court, and another report of I.D. fraud from a resident on Hwy. 16 east.

Those arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Brionna Shunte Hammon, 26, Okmulgee, Ok.—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

•Lois Marie Gignac, 55, Oxford—aggravated stalking and probation violation.

•Gary K. White, 61, Lithonia—hold for warrant in DeKalb County.

•Garrik Lyndon Hogan, 30, Monticello—driving on a suspended or revoked license and a Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Ashley O’Neal Barts, 37, Monticello—hold for a warrant in Walton Co.

•Marvis Armel Wyman, 38, Monticello—cruelty to children-3rd degree, criminal trespass (two counts), obstruction of a law enforcement officer, simple battery (two counts) and probation violation.

•Michael Hunter Nunery, 22, McDonough—possession of methamphetamine and failure to wear a seat belt.
