Recreation Basketball Sign-ups Beginning

The Jasper County Recreation Department announces that basketball registration is now open for boys and girls ages 5-14.

The fee for ages 5-6 is $60 and all other ages is $70. Any non-county residents who seek to participate must pay an additional $15 fee.

Registration is open until November 8 and can be completed online or by visiting the Recreation Department at 246 Ted Sauls Road in Monticello.

Also, the Recreation Department will participate in the 2nd Annual Elk’s Soccer Shoot on Wednesday, Oct. 16 beginning at 6 p.m. The Soccer Shoot is a program that tests different level skills at different ages.

Jasper County youth will face off against Putnam County youth with girls and boys in four age divisions: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, and Under 14.
