Deputies Investigate Store Burglary
In the early morning hours of last Friday, Oct. 4, deputies and investigators responded to a burglary at 22044 Hwy. 11 North, Tyson’s Country Store.
An undisclosed amount of cash and other items were taken from the location. The Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating leads and the case remains active.
Anyone who has any information about the case or has information that may lead to the arrest of the offenders is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division, 706-468-4912. Your information may remain confidential, the sheriff said.
Also in the last week, deputies investigated a burglary in Hillsboro. And, M&M Motors had a concern about a car without a clear title.

•Kristopher Ty Armistead, 29. Dawsonville—probation violation.
•Tavares Marques Jackson, 38, Monticello—probation violation.
•Kiefer Wayne Wood, 26, Monticello—probation violation and battery.
•Robert Elton Bowden, 49 Monticello—cruelty to children-1st degree, cruelty to children-3rd degree (two counts).
•James Clifford Jackson, 44, Decatur—hold for warrant in DeKalb Co.
•Jesse Earl Whitton, 45, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, drug related objects, driving while unlicensed and failure to maintain lane.
•Timothy Allen Corry, 49, Eatonton—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Demetria Contrial White, 37, Covington — public drunkenness.
•Thomas Lee Conner, 57, Mansfield—battery and probation violation.
•Dustin Kip Trice, 29, Monticello—probation violation.
•Miguel Angel Bautista, 18, Monticello—failure to maintain lane and driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Scott David Walsh, 52, Norcross—probation violation.
