Trisha Yearwood To Release CD in Monticello

Trisha Yearwood celebrates Every Girl album release with “every girl road trip” Labor Day weekend.

Trisha Yearwood will come back to her Georgia roots this Labor Day weekend to retrace the drive she took countless times to Music City to follow her dreams before she became a country superstar.

Yearwood is kicking off the three-day long road trip with an album release party in her hometown of Monticello on Friday evening. Her final destination will be at a special to be announced location in Nashville.

With surprise stops along the way in Georgia and Tennessee, Yearwood will be meeting fans, signing CD’s and celebrating Every Girl, available everywhere August 30. #EveryGirlRoadTrip.

The Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce is working with Trisha Yearwood to coordinate local activities. At this time, she is expeted to begin signing CDs at 5:30 p.m. More information will be in next week’s newspaper.

A 1982 graduate of Piedmont Academy, Trisha Yearwood is an American country music artist, actress, author, television personality and celebrity chef.

Her parents were the late Jack and Gwen Yearwood. Trisha, and sister, Beth Bernard, were born and raised in Monticello.

Trisha rose to fame with her 1991 debut single “She’s in Love with the Boy,” which became a number one hit on the Billboard country singles chart.
