Willie Charles Hardwick

Homegoing services for Willie Charles Hardwick, were held Monday, August 5, at Springfield Baptist Church. Dr. Jimmy Horton officiated; burial was in New Community Cemetery in Agateville.

Mr. Hardwick was born September 12, 1958 to the late Mrs. Lucille Hardwick and the late Horace G. Hardwick. He attended the Jasper County public school system. During his lifetime he made many friends; always wearing a smile.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, his life ended, as his next journey began at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruby Hardwick; brothers-in-law, Claude Willis and Ulysses Driskell, and a brother, Robert Lee Hardwick.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Ida Bell Driskell and Martha Willis, both of Monticello; eight brothers, Horace Hardwick (Mae), Jessie Hardwick, Donald Hardwick (Sandra), Leroy Hardwick (Shayla), Rueben Hardwick, David Hardwick, James Hardwick (Marie) and Eugene Hardwick (Alice); godchildren, Juawana Davis, Kiamber Jefferies, Juakerick Gude and Glen Davis. Also, a devoted caregiver, Sandra Hardwick, a devoted friend, Ann Solomon, and four aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
