Persons Are Arrested
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated only two burglaries in the last week—one on Northeast Street, and one that was reported on Washington Street, and followed up on at Crossing Street.
They also are investigating a financial identity fraud.
Persons who were arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Marvis Armel Wyman, 38, Monticello—criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, simple battery, cruelty to children, 3rd degree (two counts), and simple assault.
•Charles Leonard Sams, 56, Macon—terroristic threats, possession of cocaine, public drunkenness, theft by shoplifting and obstruction of law enforcement officer.
•Hannah Kathryn Fisher, 21, Monticello—false statements or writings, concealment of fact.
•Rebecca Lynn Garrison, 45, Newborn—probation violation.
•Wesley Theron Clark, Jr., 29, Monticello—hold for warrant in Newton Co.
•Christopher Wayne Jones, 39, Hillsboro—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Noah Christopher Jackson, 27, Monticello—statutory rape.
•Michael O’Neal Lyons, 52, Shady Dale—disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
•Jeffrey Dean Lindsey, 34, Covington—Jasper County Probate Court bench warrant.
•Timothy Lywnood, Jr., 30, Newborn—incarceration order from drug court.
•Donavan Lee James, 18, Harrisburg, N.C.—theft by receiving stolen property.
•Ashlie Michelle Benton, 30, Monticello—headlight violation and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Taylor James Robertson, 30, Covington—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Ernest Michael Scott, 43, Newborn—probation violation.
•Jessica Leigh Decosse, 19, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
•Deanna Crooms Burrell, 39, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
•Danny Lee Criswell, 19, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
•Saige Marie Jenkins, 34, Newborn—cruelty to children-3rd degree and simple battery.
