Congressman Hice Visits

10th District Congressman Jody Hice spoke at the monthly meeting of the Jasper County Republican Party Tuesday in the Jasper County Courthouse.

A large group of citizens attended and were updated by Congressman Hice on various subjects including his recent trip to the Texas-Mexico border to observe treatment of immigrants, the passage of the spending bill raising the debt ceiling, how to deal with mass shootings, building the wall on the Southern border, changing the asylum laws, and the Red Flag law.

Afterwards, the floor was opened for a question and answer period.

Congressman Hice is Chairman of Communications of the Freedom Caucus, a group of the most conservative House members.

Accompanying Mr. Hice was his Chief of Staff, Tim Reitz.
