15 Arrested for Drugs

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) has just completed “Operation Heatwave” which resulted in 24 total arrest warrants for the arrest of 15 separate individuals.
This was a nine-month long investigation by the JCSO Crime Suppression Unit into the sale of illegal drugs here in Jasper County. The efforts were focused on the illegal sale of prescription drugs and methamphetamine, as well as a few offenders who were charged with the illegal sale of marijuana.
While executing the arrest warrants for this operation, deputies also executed two search warrants, removing additional drugs off the streets, and resulting in additional drug arrests.
Those arrested, and their charges include:

•Sara Ann Dobbs, 53, Monticello—sale of Schedule II Controlled Substance.
•Chalmers Earnest Dobbs, 63, Monticello—sale of schedule II controlled substance.
•Henry J Maddox, 80, Shady Dale—sale of marijuana, possession of Marijuana w/intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
•Christopher Lee Kell, 19, Monticello—purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute or sale of marijuana.
•Gary Lewis Baker, II, 47, Monticello—sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine (two counts) and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Angela Lenora Rainwater, 44, Monticello—sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine (two counts), and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Jason Keith Slaton, 35, Newborn—sale of methamphetamine.
•Stephen Blake Smith, 28, Hillsboro—sale of methamphetamine
•Taylor Deandrea Parker, 19, Monticello—
purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute or sale of marijuana.
•Alexian Jordan Tolay, 19, Jackson—sale of marijuana.
•John Walter Shears, Jr., 55, Monticello—sale of a schedule II controlled substance.
•Johnny Farley, 59, Shady Dale—sale of methamphetamine.
•Kevin Wayt, 35, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine w/intent to distribute.
•Didi Joann Parker, 43, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine (two counts), possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance (two counts) .
Also, Candace Bloodworth, 37, of Monticello is charged with sale of methamphetamine, but has not been picked up by Jasper County yet, however she is incarcerated.

•Glen Edward Carter, 64, Monticello—criminal trespass.
•Michael Anthony Clemons, 51, Jackson—theft by shoplifting.
•Timothy Michael Wren, 38, Newborn—possession of methamphetamine, giving false name, address or birthdate to law enforcement officer and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
•Tonja Monuella Merritt, 43, Douglasville—probation violation.
•Becky Mae Gilreath, 27, Oxford—unlawful to obtain for or give to inmate any item without consent.
•Charles Michael Buice, 49, Mansfield—no tag or expired tag, striking a fixed object, leaving the scene of an accident, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, fleeing/eluding a law enforcement officer, no proof of insurance, theft of lost/mislaid property and aggravated assault.
•Coty Ryan Casler, 41, Forysth— Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
•Kelly Wayne Brostrom, 27, Mansfield— possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Kimberly Ann Simonds, 32, Hillsboro—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Samantha Louise Hudgins, 18, Morrow—conspiracy to commit a felony.
•MacKenzie Shayne Figueroa, 19, Covington—probation violation.
•Jamiko Shaveonte Hughes, 26, Milledgeville—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and failure to maintain lane.
•Jason Todd Chapman, 33, Thomaston—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant and probation violation.
•John Walter Shears, Jr., 55, Monticello—sale of Schedule I or II controlled substance.
•Charlie Mell Esco, Jr., 61, Auburn—probation violation.
•Nicholas Wayne Ramey, 39, Covington—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant and probation violation.
•Dwight Anthony Jones, 29, Flovilla—probation violation.
•Jarrod Steven Hall, 36, Blue Ridge—theft by receiving stolen property.
