Several Are Sentenced in Superior Court

Activity Tuesday in Jasper Superior Court yielded a light court docket for Judge Terry Massey with only a handful of civil and criminal cases of which many were continued.

Ronald Eugene Garrett was sentenced to three years of probation for possession of a schedule I controlled substance with a charge of crossing the guard line with contraband nolle prossed.

Nichole Page, 10 days of probation revoked to Jasper County jail for a positive drug test and failure to report to the probation office. Jail time was suspended upon completion of 40 hours of community service.

Richard Lee Williams, sentenced to 180 days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon entry into a state probation detention center and payment of court fees in arrears. he was charged with committing two new offenses in April 2019 while on probation.

Judge Massey also presided over the April 30 session of Jasper Superior Court which resulted in the following sentences.

Daishawn Damon Ryan, sentenced to 10 years with the first 240 days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon entry into a state probation detention center for 150-180. He was sentenced on 12 counts of identity fraud while another 12 counts of the same charge were nolle prossed. He was credited with time served since December 2018. He was fined $2,000 and sentenced to pay restitution of $7,900.

Milgaina Laurent, sentenced to 10 years with the first 140 days in Jasper County jail for 12 counts of identity fraud while another 12 counts of the same charge were nolle prossed. Defendant was credited with time served since December 2018, fined $2,000, and sentenced to pay restitution of $7,900.

Morgan Webb, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and failure to maintain brake lights. Fined $1,000.

Evan Tanner Gerlach, sentenced to 12 months of probation for Alford. Fined $500.

David Lamar Mitchell, sentenced to 45 days in Jasper County jail of a new offense of simple battery.

Joseph Paul Williamson, sentenced to two years in the state penal for several probation violations.

Timothy Lynwood, Jr., sentenced to enter an complete the Ocmulgee Abuse Treatment Center as a probation modification.
