Deputies Investigate Thefts
Jasper County deputies investigated a few thefts in the last week, including one at 2384 Hwy. 11 south for the second week in a row. This week, items taken included a large assortment of tools.
Drugs were taken from an address on Jackson Street, and there was a report of cash missing from Ingles, but it was not clear from the report if the store lost the money or an individual at the store. There was also a report of entering auto on Nancy Street last week, and a resident on Waxwing Drive reported an identity theft.
Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Jennifer Leigh Trent, 42, Macon—probation violation.
•John Garland Thomason, 59, Hillsboro—criminal trespass.
•Lola Ann Grogan-Lindsey, 39, Shady Dale—manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine/marijuana/meth/or illegal drugs and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Candy Yvonne Cleveland, 48, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine.
•Ezzard Mendall Williams, 39, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Marilyn Ann Armstrong, 47, Gainesville—probation violation.
•Bryan Anthony Harris, 46, Eatonton—sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
•Michael Oneal Lyons, 52, Shady Dale—probation violation.
•Odell Lamar Thurman, 35, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Shianne Alexandra Zabik, 24, Eatonton—simple battery.
•Lisa Summer Cox, 22, Monticello—simple battery.
•Jetravius Qantel Thurman, 23, Shady Dale—interference with government property, failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and obstruction of law enforcement officer (five counts).
•David Lamar Mitchell, 54, Decatur—probation violation (two counts).
•Kent Anthony Miller, 35, Monticello—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.
