Persons Are Arrested

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to three calls of transaction card fraud in the last week. An ongoing problem, three new victims came forward this week.

In addition, deputies responded to a call for entering auto in Monticello, and arrested a wanted person. They also on Valentine’s Day responded to a report of a theft of a chainsaw, blowers, and a trimmer in Shady Dale.

Persons arrested in the last week include:

•Ryan James Dunkin, 36, Oakwood—hold for warrant in Jackson Co.

•Phillips Douglas Eubanks, 20, Covington—hold for warrant in North Carolina.

•Terry Adam Redish, 40, Covington—theft by receiving stolen property.

•Kent Anthony Miller, 35, Monticello—hold for warrant in Bibb Co.

•Claude Bernard Willis, Jr., 28, Social Circle—probation violation.

•Keyshawn Ramon Jackson, 23, Monticello—probation violation.

•Amber Symone Brown, 30, Monticello—probation violation.

•Donnie Luther Joyce, Jr., 47, Monticello—probation violation.

•Richard Andrew Bixler, 30, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and failure to maintain lane.

•Darnell Sanchez Norwood, 22, Monticello—harassing phone calls.

•Molissa Matney D’heasler, 55, Canton—probation violation.

•Brock MacKenzie Baker, 31, Covington—hold for a warrant in Gwinnett Co.

•Nicholas Lawayne Smith, 19, Athens—probation violation and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Austin Michael Ross, 19, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Jeffery Clint Purcell, 47, Athens—probation violation.

•Dyland Corey James Atkinson, 19, Monticellox—probation violation and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Sherri Parr Johnson, 56, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts.
