Drug Arrests Are Made

MARIJUANA AND LSD ARE CONFISCATED

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Crime Suppression Unit made multiple arrests this week as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. More arrests are anticipated.

Matthew Walker, 24, of Hampton, Dustin Sailors, 24, of Monticello and Damon Entrekin, 21, of Griffin were all arrested and charged with Possession of LSD (Acid) with Intent to Distribute. The trio was found in possession of approximately 50 “hits” of suspected Acid.

Christopher Starnes, 23, of Riverdale, was arrested and warrants will be issued for Tynelle Hardy, 41, of Riverdale and Crystal Thomas, 18, of Riverdale. This trio will all be charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. They were found in possession of approximately one quarter pound of marijuana and had four young children in the vehicle with them at the time the deputies encountered them.

Others who were arrested this week, and their charges, include:

•Emily Rebecca Spidle, 32, Monticello—battery.

•Steven Tyler Rosser, 22, McDonough—criminal trespass.

•Erik Tyler Enrique, 26, Monticello—unregistered vehicle and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Marchinlo Alexander Wyman, 49, Monticello—probation violation.

•Tyler Andrew Fetner, 25, Monroe—aggravated battery

•David James Childers, 25, Newborn—purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution/or sale of marijuana, possession with intent any controlled substance, drug related objects and failure to maintain lane.

•Robert Tyrone Phillips, 25, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Gregory James Eakin, Jr., 21, Griffin—possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug related objects and open container of alcohol.

•Reginald Darnell Hamm, 22, Barnesville—possession of methamphetamine, crossing guard lines with weapons, intoxicants or drugs, open container, drug related objects, and possession of methamphetamine.

•Dustin Travis Jeffrey, 24, Monticello—failure to appear bench warrant.

•Nicholas Wayne Ramey, 39, Covington—failure to appear bench warrant and probation violation.
