Winner Gets 14 Right; Eight Make Honor Rol

PATRICK DIAZ (L), NICHOLE BAILEY

Bobby Bailey is one of the few people who now has two chances at the Grand Prize Honor Roll by virtue of his win this week where he correctly guessed the winner of all but one game listed in the contest.

The only game Mr. Bailey missed on was Purdue’s trouncing upset of Ohio State. Otherwise, he was perfect in high school and professional games.

For his efforts he picked up a $25 prize from MD HVAC, and because he was working he sent his daughter, Nichole, to pick up his prize. She thanked her cousin, Patrick Diaz, for the prize. Yes, the contestant and the sponsor are uncle and nephew, making it kind of special to be sponsor this week. Marshall Diaz, owner of MD HVAC is the son of Janna Hooper, the sister of Mr. Bailey.

Eight other people got either 13 or 12 right to also have their names added to the Grand Prize Honor Roll.

A lot of other people got 11 right, but alas, that is not enough to make the honor roll or have bragging rights.

This week everyone has another chance to win the weekly prize, sponsored by their friendly neighborhood Dairy Queen, and have their name added to the Grand Prize Honor Roll. Everyone who gets at least 12 right has his or her name added to the honor roll for a chance at four premium tickets to the Chick-Fil-A/Peach Bowl in Atlanta. The person with the mot wright wins the weekly prize. And, the winner has his or her name added to the honor roll no matter how many he or she gets right, like last week when the most anyone got was 11.
