Homegoing services for Jimmy Carlton Stewart, who died October 15, 2018, were held Sunday, Oct. 21 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Forsyth. Burial was in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens, Forsyth.

Mr. Stewart was born October 17, 1950.

Survivors include his children, Alex (Mia) Stewart, Anthony (Mary) Stewart, Carlton Stewart, Adrian (Tara) Stewart, Arckel (Diltra) Stewart, Huriah Stewart, and Marquita Hamm; devoted companion, Kathner Thomas and daughter, LeKeshia Goolsby; 23 grandchildren; siblings Annie McCray, Rev. Barbara Reid, Rodney (Sharon) Stewart, Glendalyn Stewart, Leslie (Hilda) Stewart, Alisa Stewart, Ewrin (Beverly) Stewart, Cynthia (Ishman) Harris, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family held a wake on Friday evening at St. John C.M.E. Church in Monticello.

Freeman Funeral Home in Forsyth was in charge of arrangements.
