Ernest Ray Puckett

Ernest Ray Puckett, age 63, of Morrow, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at his residence.

Ernest Puckett was born in Duluth, Ga., to the late Homer Puckett and Mary Lue Harbin Puckett. He worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Ernest Puckett was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his work in carpentry and enjoyed making people laugh and sharing a good joke.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Ellen Todd Puckett of Morrow; children, Dawn (Donald) Lecroy of Villa Rica, Daniel Ray Puckett of Dacula, and Deborah Sills of Locust Grove; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Ricky Puckett, Ronald Puckett, Reid Puckett, and Wanda Vantroostenberghe of Monroe, Roger and Debbie Puckett of Lawrenceville, and Wendy Seawright of Monticello.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Hicks will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Jordan Funeral Home, prior to the service.
