April Ann Arden Hall

April Ann Arden Hall, age 62, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at Piedmont Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers.

April Hall was born on August 7, 1956, in Macon, to the late Morgan Rawls Arden and Juanita “Nita” Poss Arden. She was the granddaughter of the late M. R. Arden, Sr. and Sara Frances Fullerton Arden, and “Big” Poss and Lucy Poss, all of Macon.

April Hall graduated from Monroe Academy of Forsyth. She also received her BS degree from Mercer University in Macon, where she served as President of Alpha Delta Pi. She obtained additional education in law, education, insurance and medical sciences.

After working with her father in corporate insurance planning in Athens and Macon, , she served as a Physician Specialist in Macon. She taught in the Jasper County School System in Monticello. She was also a homemaker and farmer with the 4-A Ranch in Madison.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Everett Hall of Madison; children, Kellee Jordan Douglas of Milledgeville and Linton Kyle (Jessica) Jordan of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Camilla Douglas, Anna Fountain, Gracie Sexton and Haley Jordan; brother, Morgan R. Arden, III of Warner Robins; aunt, Francene Arden Bost of Westminster, S.C.; and cousin, J. Thax Bost, III of Seneca, S.C..

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Colter will officiate.

April was well loved and will be missed. She was a tower of strength during health and illnesses.
