Thefts Are Reported On Washington Street
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated several thefts in the last week, including three on Washington Street.
A complainant said she left her clothes at the laundromat, and when she went back to get them, they were gone. In another instance, an individual was allegedly stealing electricity. In the third instance, apparently a home was broken into, and watches, jewelry, coins, and a briefcase were among the items taken.
Another burglary was reported on Sprayberry Road, where someone took clothing, a cell phone charger, toiletries, and an amount of Prozac. Lastly, the disappearance of a handgun was reported at a Newborn address.

•Marvin Craig Ash, 55, Commerce—probation violation.
•Norberto Mancio Vazquez, 33, Macon—driving while licensed.
•Sean Justin Cunningham, 34, Sugar Hill—holding/supporting wireless telecommunications device and driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Sierra Shyann Crowder, 20, Riverdale—forgery-fourth degree, financial identity fraud, conspiracy to commit a crime and printing/executing/negotiating checks, drafts, etc.
•Tiffany Amber Phillips, 28, Monticello—possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (two counts), possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of a law enforcement officer (two counts).
•Jeffery Scott Brown, 28, Covington—possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
•Benjamin Todd Hynum, 35, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine (two counts), possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and cruelty to children-first degree.
•Kenneth Shawn Holder, 42, Shady Dale—possession of methamphetamine.
•Kayla Rose Pruett, 28, Monticello—cruelty to children/first degree, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (three counts), tampering with evidence, possession of a of Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, possession of methamphetamine (two counts). possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and probation violation.

•Jeremiah Vernon Tilson, 34, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
