Several Are Sentenced in Superior Court

During last week’s Jasper County Superior court session with a light docket of cases, Judge Brenda Trammell ordered Andre Tobler to serve 90 days in Jasper County jail for a guilty plea to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Mr. Tobler was sentenced to seven years but following the jail time could be placed on probation for the remainder of the time and was credited for time served since May 2018. He was fined $1,000.

Justin Singletary had his probation revoked to 180 days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon entry into and completion of the Georgia Department of Corrections Integrated Treatment Facility. He was dismissed from an inpatient rehab facility in August 2017 for leaving the facility and failing to return and in April 2018 he committed a new offense of obstruction of law enforcement officer.

Gus Davis, III had his probation revoked to 120 days in Putnam County jail for the new offense of theft by taking in Putnam and failure to pay court fees.

Timmy Strange, Jr. had his probation balance revoked to the Jasper County jail until it expires Sepetember 2018 for failure to report to the probation office in March and May 2018 and failure to pay court fees.

Tyler Hall has his probation revoked to eight days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon completion of community service work and the completion of an alcohol/drug evaluation. If not completed, he must report to the Jasper County jail by next week.

Stephen Wilkerson had the balance of his probation revoked to the Georgia Department of Corrections which was suspended pending completion of the Ocmulgee Circuit Accountability Court.
