Norma Gail Johnson Ellis

Norma Gail Johnson Ellis, age 65, of Stockbridge, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, in Florida.

Norma Ellis was born in Atlanta, to the late Hollis Camp Johnson and Mary Jane Willis Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of Clayton County.

Norma Ellis was a 12-year dedicated employee of Atlanta Electrical JATC’s Training Center in Norcross. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and traveled to Anna Maria Island twice a year.

She always had a smile on her face and laughter in her voice. She was a patient, loving mother that was devoted to her family; and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda McCormick.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie (Jason) Hardee of Social Circle and Cindy Reeves of Morrow; grandchildren, Caitlin Collins, Clay Hardee and Vanessa Welch; boyfriend of 15 years, Todd Moses of Clayton County; and brothers, Gary (Sandra) Johnson of Yatesville, Mike (Rachel) Johnson of Covington, Richard Johnson of Barnesville, Jeff (Lisa) Johnson of Griffin and Tim (Martha) Johnson of Forest Park.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Callie Fuller Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Charles Roper will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Hardee, Clay Hardee, Richard Johnson, Scottie Johnson, Joseph Calhoun and Joshua Calhoun.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018, prior to the service at Jordan Funeral Home.
