John Brock

John Brock, 97, formerly of Eatonton, passed away in Marshallville, GA. on Sunday, May 13, 2018.

John was known to his family and friends as J.T. He was born in Shady Dale to the late David W. Brock and Sara Lucille Cagle Brock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edith Tomlin Brock and son Johnny Brock.

J. T. served in the United States Army for four years during World War II and was a member of the VFW post 6686. J.T. was the plant manager at Enterprise Aluminum for many years.

The visitation was to be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m.at Eatonton Memorial Park.

He is survived by his grandchildren Lea Rodgers of Perry, Chris Brock of Marietta, and Lisa Slaton of Garden Valley, and six great-grandchildren.

Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
