Persons Are Arrested

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) are investigating three thefts from the last week, and also have received a report of a forgery.

Tools were taken from an address on Harvey Street, and the theft was reported on Monday. Also on Monday, deputies responded to Forsyth Street where a riding mower, a 54” zero turn mower, and a go-cart were taken.

In addition, a Visa credit card was reported taken on Sunday from an address on Dallas Trail.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Billy Bruce Johnson, Jr., 32, Griffin—false statements and writings or concealment of facts.

•Russell Anthony White, 51, Jackson—disruption of public schools.

•Kenneth Lee Rickett, 39, Conyers—failure to appear bench warrant (two counts).

•Aaron Lee Petty, 31, Monticello—hold for warrant in Butts Co.

•Jamison Mark Vierig, 44, Jackson—driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to stop for stop sign and possession of methamphetamine.

•Lorenia May Moran Hines, 20, Conyers—terroristic threats and acts and simple battery.

•Michael Austin Haney, 20, McDonough—hold for warrant in Meriwether Co.

•Florencion Gabriel Fernandez, 42, Monticello—hold for warrant in Haralson Co.

•Emmett Doyle Bennett, 47, Locust Grove—hold for a warrant in Lamar Co.

•Robert Keith Bowen, 27, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Yasheka Cherelle Banks, 43, Covington—false statements and writings and forgery.

•Clayton Scott Hardy, 23, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Chaelsea Charday Head, 22, Rutledge—possession of a Schedule III, IV or V controlled substance with intent to distribute.
