Keynun Monroe Williams

Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel Keynun Monroe Williams was called home by our Lord. Baby Keynun was born April 20, 2017 and gained his wings on May 3, 2018.

Baby Keynun is being greeted in Heaven by his father, the late Kytrone Ramon Williams. Baby Keynun is also joining Heaven with uncles, Michael Brown, Sanjays Kar, and Stephen Marlow and paternal grandfather Hollis Williams Sr.

Baby Keynun is survived by mother, Robin Caitlin Pierce Motes of Monticello. Baby Keynun has two sisters; Molly Jernigan and Kaleigh Williams of Monticello, and one brother; Kelby Williams of Shady Dale. Maternal grandparents, “Yaya” Polly Porter, “Poppy James Haywood Sr..”, and “Old Man” Robin T. Motes. Paternal grandparents are Dan and Patricia Carey of Shady Dale.

Uncles include; Joshua Motes, James Haywood Jr., Hollis Williams Jr., and Travis Williams. Aunts Demetria Williams, Tibia Williams-Banks, Kimberly Gotel, Tonya Carey and Joycine Lumpkin.

Baby Keynun left footprints in the hearts of many including his loving extended family and special friends; Robert and Michelle Cumbie and Daniel and Laura Wright. Baby Keynun also leaves a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends to treasure his memories.

He will be forever loved. Services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 2 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church on Funderburg Drive. Rev. Donna Marie Calix, pastor. Officiating will be Rev. Phillip Stancil. Burial will be in South View Cemetery.
