Persons Are Arrested On Various Charges
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) had a relatively quiet week this week, only investigating two burglaries, and one report of fraud.
One theft by taking took place on Herring Gull Court, where a resident said $200 was missing from his or her home. Then, a trailer was reported taken from an address on Apt-to-Miss Road. The owner was not sure when it was taken, but it was discovered this week.
In the fraud case, a complainant on Honeysuckle Drive complained of problems with Itunes cards.

•Clement James Abbott, 57, Jackson—order revoking bond.
•Nathaniel Dennis, 26, Lithonia—fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, speeding, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of the road.
•Tawanna Leaf Lane, 42, Monticello—probation violation.
•Steve Taylor Shirley, 53, Commerce—theft by receiving stolen property, theft by taking and criminal damage to property (four counts).
•Steven James Barker, 52, Forest Park—probation violation.
•Aubrey Tess Olson, 18, Monroe—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and and operating unauthorized vehicle with blue lights.
•Dametria Antionette Jackson, 30, Monticello—probation violation.
•Donnie Luther Joyce, Jr., 46, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Thomas Robert Anderson, Jr., 34, Monticello—Jasper County Magistrate Bench warrant.
•Jennifer Leigh Trent, 41, Macon—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.
•Tavoris Antonio Whidby, 33, Monticello—probation violation.
•Roy Lane Gibby, 52, Conyers—hold for warrant in Rockdale Co.
•Donnie Luther Joyce, Sr., 64, Atlanta—failure to register as a sex offender/failure to comply.
•William Joseph Biddy, Jr., 25, Scottsdale—probation violation.
•Michael Lynn Holder, 45, Monticello—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.
•Tonya Diann Martin, 36, Shady Dale—possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
•Marcus Lamont Robbins, 38, Griffin—license violation.
Officers responded to numerous calls of various types including 312 premises check, 61 stopping suspicious person or vehicle, 25 direct traffic, 24 serve civil papers, 17 each pick-up prisoner or subject and subject needs officer; nine fights, seven calls to livestock in road; six each 911 hand up and serve warrant, five each mechanical breakdown, VIN verification, extra patrol, roadway hazard and trouble unknown; four each escort or convoy and threatening/harassing calls, and many other calls.
