Several Are Sentenced in Superior Court
Daniel Lee Case got a reprieve from prison last week in Jasper Superior Court when Judge Brenda Trammell presided over the motion day docket.
Mr. Case was found guilty on two charges including criminal attempt to commit a felony and obscene internet contact with a child while three other charges were nolle prossed. Initially he was sentenced to 12 years with the first three to be served in confinement. However that sentence was suspended upon entry into the Gwinnett County work release program for two years. He was fined $1,500.
Warren Finney, Jr., was sentenced to 10 years of probation for failure to register as a sex offender. Fined $1,500.
Grant Christopher Gierman, sentenced to one year of probation for reckless driving. Fined $700.
Betty Jean Holder, sentenced to one year of probation for criminal trespass. Fined $300.

Bridgette Greene, probation revoked to the penal system for failure to report to the probation office repeatedly and failure to pay restitution.
Micheal Greenway, probation revoked to 180 days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon entry into a state residential substance abuse treatment center which was further suspended upon entry into a long term inpatient substance abuse treatment center. He committed the offense of trafficking and possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute while also testing positive for the drug in October 2017.
Terrance Bostic, probation revoked 10 180 days in Jasper County jail and will have 45 days to be accepted into a long term inpatient substance abuse treatment program wher he must stay for a minimum of six months. If not entered into a treatment program within 45 days, he must spend remainder of sentence in jail which will be suspended upon entry into a state probation detention center.
Russell Mincy, probation revoked to 30 days in Jasper County jail for testing postive for alcohol.
William Hunter, must complete drug and alcohol evaluation within 15 days or return to court for further action for acquiring the new charge of possession of methamphetamine an marijuana.
Nicole Page, probation revoked to 15 days in Jasper County jail unless payment of $192 by March. If not paid, she must report to jail by March 16 for failure to pay court fines, failure to complete community service, and failure to report to probation office.
Timothy Huggins, probation revoked to 10 days in Jasper County jail if he does not complete a drug and alcohol evalauation within 15 days for testing positive for alcohol.
