Several Are Arrested with Drugs
Officers from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit working with officers with the Butts County Sheriff’s Office arrested John William Coffee of Social Circle on January 26.
After a brief investigation the defendant was found in possession of an amount of methamphetamine, a digital scale and packaging materials.
John William Coffee was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
In a separate incident, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Tactical Squad (STS) executed a search warrant January 25, at the address of 56 Starling Drive. Upon executing the warrant, Ernest Michael “Spoon” Scott was taken into custody for outstanding felony arrest warrants in the state of Florida.

Deputies observed suspected methamphetamines in plain view while executing the original warrant, so the STS team held the house and obtained a second warrant to search the premises for drugs. Deputies located methamphetamine, packaging materials, digital scales and a firearm during the more thorough search of the house.
Heather Hulsey was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule iv controlled substance and possession of drug related objects. Ernest Michael Scott was arrested on Florida’s outstanding felony warrants, and was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule iv controlled substance and possession of drug related objects and tampering with evidence.
Other persons arrested in teh last week included:
•Jacob Gunner Bledsoe, 19, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Ann Marie Bach, 34, Savannah—possession of Schedule I or II with intent to distribute (seven counts), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution/sale of marijuana and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
•James Leonard Bowen, 36, Monticello—speeding, license violation, reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and open container.
•Bridgette Nicole Greene, 36, Macon—probation violation.
•Kevin Jamal Jacobs, 18, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts.
•Timothy Joseph Huggins, 52, Monticello—probation violation.
•Jerrilyn Shante Edwards, 27, Hoschton—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, crossing state/county guard lines with weapons/intoxicants/or drugs, failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Montanna Lawade Moore, 30, Oglethorpe—hold for warrant in DeKalb Co.
•Vashon Leon Traylor, 28, Monticello—obstruction of a law enforcement officer (2 counts), battery, cruelty to children-3rd degree and probation violation (2 counts).
•Joanna Marie Daniel, 36, Newborn—possession of methamphetamine.
•Kenneth John Medrano, 39, Covington—possession of methamphetamine.
•Jhonalan Wesley Kimbell, 47, Hogansville—hold for warrant in Putnam Co.
•Matthew James Robinson, 25, Monticello—simple battery.
•Joann Hardin, 58, Monticello—hold for warrant in Henry Co.
•Patrick Kevin Hammonds, 51, Madison—transporting untaxed alcohol and possession of untaxed alcohol.
•Jonathan Jaben Hardin, III, 57, Monticello—hold for warrant in Henry Co.
•Jasmine Nicole Brantley, 23, Union Point—probation violation.
