Deputies Investigate Vandalism

The last week was relatively quiet for the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), although there were several reports of identity fraud.

Deputies received a report of vandalism on city of Shady Dale property including parks and other locations. They also responded to Family Dollar when someone tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges include:

•Jason Spencer Allen, 36, Monticello—crossing state/county guard lines with weapons/intoxicants or drugs, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, drugs not in original container and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Melvin Lamar Cosby, 53, Monticello: following too close, operating an unregistered vehicle, driving while license suspended or revoked and no proof of insurance.

•Wesley Donald Stephens, III, 26, Monticello—hold for warrant at Conyers Police Department.

•Kendrick Savolis Clemons, 39, Conyers—Jasper County Probate Court bench warrant for failure to appear.

•Clinton Brock Lummus, 17, Monticello—possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.

•Patricia Renea Hinds, 24, Locust Grove—probation violation.

•Roger Len Wilkerson, 49, Monticello—probation violation.

•Tony Rudolph Boone, 59, Monticello—probation violation.

•Russell Clay Mincy, 58, Monticello—probation violation
