Three Are Sentenced Here

Patrick J. Bridwell was sentenced to serve four years of a 10 year sentence in confinement following a negotiated plea to five criminal charges Tuesday in Jasper Superior Court which was presided over by Judge Alison Burleson.

Mr. Bridwell’s charges included fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, theft by receiving stolen property, driving while license suspended, reckless driving, and failure to stop at Stop sign. He was also fined $2,000.

Dean Frazier was sentenced to one year of probation for theft by shoplifting and fined $200. He was given the extra condition of not being allowed to enter the premise of Dollar General located on Hwy. 212.

Owen Daley had his probation revoked 120 days in Jasper County jail for violating probation conditions by being arrested for possession of marijuana in Rockdale County.

Judge Burleson reviewed four civil cases and several child support cases in addition to reviewing some cases that will head to trial week beginning Monday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. in the Courthouse.
