Few Are Sentenced in Court

Jasper Superior Court had a very brief court session Tuesday under the jurisdiction of Judge William Prior, Jr.

The judge presided over one civil case and three criminal cases.

Sentences included:

Christian Amos Webb, 12 months of probation for giving false information to a law enforcement officer. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was nolle prossed. Fined $500.

Kenny Strickland, probation revoked to 29 days in Jasper County jail for violating previous probation conditions from a battery charge in January 2017.

Brian Cunard, sentenced to continue current psychiatric supervision and continue probation for testing positive on random drug test.
