David Alan Hinson
David Alan Hinson, age 66, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at his residence.
David Hinson was born in Fayetteville, N.C. to Charles Raymond Hinson and the late Helen Marie White Hinson. He lived in Stockbridge, before moving to Monticello in January of 2017.
Mr. Hinson was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers and spending time with his grandchildren. He worked as a registered private investigator for his company, National Preemployment Research and was a master carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Edwards Hinson of Monticello; children, Scott Alan Hinson of Jackson, Zachery Nolan Hinson of McDonough, Casey Michael (Stephanie) Hinson of Stockbridge, Bobby Eugene (A. J.) McClain of Cleveland and Hannah Hinson (Lance) Kilburn of McDonough; grandchildren, Austin Hinson, Bryson Hinson, Canton Hinson, Devin Hinson, Kyleigh Hinson, Cayden Hinson, Landyn Hinson, Mykelteigh Hinson, Baylin Kilburn, Keytin Kilburn, Waytlin Kilburn, Isabeau McClain, Rainey McClain and Bobby McClain, IV; father, Charles Raymond Hinson of Stockbridge; and brothers and sister, Ronald Hinson of Covington, Marsha Griffith of Griffin and Carl Hinson of Stockbridge.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Interment will be held in West View Cemetery. Chaplain Jim Ross will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zachery Hinson, Casey Hinson, Bobby McClain, Lance Kilburn, Austin Hinson and Marck Bingham. Honorary pallbearer will be Baylin Kilburn.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at Jordan Funeral Home.
