Thefts Are Reported

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated several thefts in the last week, and responded to one report of identity fraud.

On Halloween, a burglary was reported on Pitts Chapel Road where several guns, ammunition, electronics, jewelry, cash and other items were taken during a break-in.

Also on that day they responded to a report of a stolen Kawasaki dirt bike on Rocky Creek Ridge. Previously, they had a report of a handgun stolen from an address on Hwy. 16 west.

On Friday, a burglary call became a criminal trespass call on Freedonia Road. Electronics, a guitar, and a duffel bag were reportedly taken then. On Saturday, a generator was reported missing from an address on Bear Creek Point, and on Monday, a resident on Turtle Cove Trailway reported a case of identity fraud.

•Walter Lee Dorough, Jr., 31, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine, forgery-1st degree, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, terroristic threats and acts,possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and theft by receiving stolen property.

•Junior Munson, 70, Eatonton—probation violation.

•Morgan Cierra Payne, 24, Monticello—theft by taking.

•Christopher Lance Fowler, Jr., 27, Monticello—obstruction of a law enforcement officer and probation violation.

•James Alvin Brake, 41, Bethlehem—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.

•John Channing Martz, 25, Monticello—theft by taking.

•Shirley Wise Benton, 58, Monticello—public drunkenness.

•Joseph Jarma Tishun Standifer, 26, Conyers—probation violation.

•Mark Anthony Johnson, 29, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine.

•Tabitha Faye Degracia, 26, Conyers—possession of methamphetamine.

•Jennifer Deseree Youngblood, 28, Rutledge—possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

*Kytrone Ramon Williams, 39, Shady Dale—aggravated stalking, criminal trespass and violation of a family violence order.

•Lauren Machele McDaniel, 27, Hillsboro—anufacture/distribute a controlled substance and probation violation.

•Shannon Kelly Moore, 41, Monticello—hold for warrant in Bibb Co.

•John Garland Thomason, 58, Hillsboro—criminal trespass.
