Deputies Respond to few Reports of Theft

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office made few arrests in the last week, and had few reports of thefts.

There was a report of a package from Amazon being taken from a residence on Rock Eagle Road. In addition, a burglary was reported on Pine Valley Road, and a financial transaction card fraud was reported at Suzie Q’s/Tysons’s Country Store on Hwy. 11 North.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Donald Torry Beacham, 38, Madison—probation violation.

•Kelly James Olson, Jr., 21, Winder—probation violation.

•Cameron Brent Moss, 22, Monticello—open container, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, passing in a no passing zone, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and failure to maintain lane.

•William Lerbert Lairsey, IV, 18, Loganville—hold for warrant in Monroe Co.

•Brian Anthony Lee Bell, 19, Monticello—obstruction of a law enforcement officer, pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs, furnishing/purchasing/or possession of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct.

•Jacob Gunner Bledsoe, 19, Covington—distributing obscene material and statutory rape.

•Dean Caleb Frazier, 27, Social Circle—theft by shoplifting (2 counts).

•Joseph Douglas Iona, 55, Ellijay—theft by deception.
