Final Market of Year Is Saturday
Fall is here and with that being said, this weekend will bring an end to the 22-week Market on the Square, says Pam Mayer, president of the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of the event.
“This year we have had an overwhelming amount of quality vendors, both on the Square and inside the Visitors’ Center, with over 55 registered vendors signed up for the 2017 season.
“All of our special guests have been invited back. All of our Small Business Saturday vendors will be back with us as well. So the Square will be busting at the seams with great products.
“Take a minute out of your Saturday and shop with us; right now you will find squash, okra, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, peppers, canned vegetables, jellies, fruits, fresh eggs, homemade pies, plants and more. Our vendors are proud of the produce they offer and most of it is grown right here in Jasper County. Come early for the best selection.”
The market is sponsored by the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of Georgia Grown. Check us out on Facebook. www.facebook.com/monticellogafarmersmarket Shop Local. Be Local. Experience Local.
