Lady ‘Canes Fall To Social Circle

The Lady Hurricanes varsity softball team fell to Social Circle 5-0 Tuesday on the road.

The varsity squad saw a lot of action over the weekend playing a tournament in Madison that began Friday when the ladies losing 2-0 to Worth County but rebounding with a 5-1 win over Newton County.

On Saturday, the Lady Canes defeated Union County 4-0.

Last week despite Irma’s turmoil, the Lady Canes defeated Oglethorpe 12-0 at home.

The squad was scheduled to host Banks County on Wednesday before heading to Rabun County today, Sept. 21 for a 5 p.m. contest.
