Lady Canes Continue Winning Ways

The Lady Hurricane varsity softball squad continued their winning ways this week with wins over Howard and Jackson.

O’Neil Sealy (#24) was on the mound Tuesday evening as she pitched a shutout against Howard.

The Lady Canes won 11-0 as the game was called in the fifth inning due to the 10-run rule. The ladies defeated Jackson 5-1 on Monday. The squad is on a six-day hiatus until Tuesday, August 28 when they will host G.M.C. at 5:30 p.m.

That competition will be followed up by two road games beginning with a competition Wednesday, August 30 against Locust Grove at Gordon State College and on Thursday, August 31 the Lady Canes face Houston County in Warner Robbins.
