Kart Race Raises $6,000 for Shriners

KART RACE RAISES $6,000 FOR SHRINERS

On August 16, the Monticello Kart Racing family presented a check for $6,000 to the Al Sihah Shrine Center to be donated to Shriner’s Children Hospitals. MKR held its first Red McMichael Memorial Race at the shady Dale Rodeo Grounds on June 17. There were 133 race entries, several vendors, and several hundred in attendance, and the funds were all raised that day.

The MKR family hopes to make this an annual charitable fund raiser and would like to thank all of those who helped make it possible. They also welcome others to check them out at Monticello Kart Racing on Facebook.
