Donald Scott Marshall

Donald Scott Marshall, age 67, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga.

Donnie Marshall was born in Macon, Ga., and grew up in Lizella, Ga. His parents were the late Scott Hicks Marshall and Eva Jean White DuLong. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deena Michelle Marshall.

Donnie Marshall served in combat in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He lived in Warner Robins from the 1970’s until moving to Hillsboro in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and drag racing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia Harper Marshall of Hillsboro; son, Tony Outlaw of Panama City Beach, Fla; step-father, Arthur DuLong of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vickie Wainright of Nahunta, GA, Brenda Marshall of Umatilla, FL and Jessica Kirby of Columbus.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Hillsboro Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Rev. Len Woodard will officiate.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hillsboro Baptist Church, 2326 Hwy 11 S, Hillsboro, Ga 31038; or the Loraine Dumas Outreach, 150 Sugar Hill Road, Hillsboro, Ga. 31038.
