Donald Peacock

A memorial service for Donald Peacock, who died June 9, 2017, was held Saturday, June 17, at Prospect Liberty C.M.E. Church on Hwy. 11 north in Monticello. Rev. Akono Ekundayo, pastor, officiated.

Mr. Peacock was born February 4, 1958 to Howard Peacock and Lillie Peacock in Jasper County.

He was educated in the Newton County School System. Mr. Peacock was employed as the superintendent at Complete Contracting Company, LLC, and was a member of Faith Deliverance Church in Decatur.

Mr. Peacock loved life; he was known as a son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his loving memories, two sons, Rickashea Hart of Newborn and Donquinta Peacock of Fayetteville; a daughter, Donquita Peacock of Atlanta; ;sisters, Barbara Johnson of Rutledge, Lillie Mae Peacock of Jackson, Annie Lois Stokes of Lithonia, Angie Smith of Shady Dale, and Linda Horton of Covington; six grandchildren, Makaree, Donyea, Jeremiah, K.J., Ivy, and Zion; also a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
