Anthony Barron ‘Tony’ Fullerton

Anthony Barron “Tony” Fullerton, age 60, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Mr. Fullerton was born in Monticello, to the late James Barron Fullerton and Edna Goolsby Fullerton. He lived in Hillsboro, and graduated from Piedmont Academy. After graduation, he served in the U. S. Air Force from 1975 until 1979.

Tony Fullerton lived in Stockbridge; and worked for Delta Air Lines for 29 1/2 years. After retirement, he returned to Hillsboro. He was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Tony loved to fish, farm and attend NASCAR races; and he volunteered at the Jasper County Food Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Tumlin Fullerton of Hillsboro; children, Kelly Fullerton, Jamie (Henry) Kida, Bill (Stephanie) Morse, Tracy (Jerry) Kierns, Joey (Traci) Upchurch, and Jennifer (Ronnie) Mills; grandchildren, Rylee Kida, Christian Kida, Austin Kida, Nova Morse, Dayton Morse, Candace (Bobby) Chutro, Jonathan Kierns, Jay Kierns, Jordan (Stacy) Upchurch, Micah (Stashia) Upchurch, Aydan Upchurch, Asher Upchurch, Aaron Gilham and Taylor Gilham; great-grandchild, Kayson Owens; and sisters, Sudy Stuckey of Hillsboro and Yulynn (Jimmy) Hightower of Macon.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Hillsboro Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Rev. Len Woodard will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Greene, Chad Fullerton, Arthur DuLong, Donnie Marshall, Ronnie Tillman, Larry Phillips and Neil Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers will be John Edmund Dumas and Jimmy Fullerton.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, prior to the service at Hillsboro Baptist Church.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hillsboro Baptist Church, P. O. Box 86, Hillsboro, Ga. 31038; or the Loraine Dumas Outreach 150 Sugar Hill Road, Hillsboro, Ga. 31038; or Jasper County Food Bank 2171 Post Road, Monticello, Ga. 31064.
