Keith Dean Cooper

Keith Dean Cooper, age 75, of Monticello, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017, at The Retreat Nursing Home.

Keith Cooper was born in Manchester, Ill., to the late Rolly Lee Cooper and Martha Louise Sipes Cooper. He moved from Illinois to Oxford, Ga., in 1979; and to Monticello in 1988.

Keith Cooper owned and operated Southland Equipment. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Keith Cooper; and brother, William Wayne Cooper.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Bryant Cooper of Monticello; children, Michael Lee Cooper of Monticello, Cheryl (Michael) Hodge of Fayetteville, John William (Carla) Cooper of Monticello, Patricia Lynne (Allen) Blackwell of High Falls and Danielle Rene Cooper of Monticello; 14 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and brother, Weldon Cooper of White Hall, Ill.
