Persons Are Arrested

Jasper County deputies responded to few thefts in the last week, only reporting the arrest of a shoplifter at Ingles Supermarket, and the report of a mailbox stolen from an address on Concord Road.

Persons booked into the Jasper County Detention Center in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Vashon Leon Traylor, 28, Monticello—cruelty to children third degree and simple battery.

•Nicole Starr Anderson, 29, Shady Dale—violation of Family Treatment Court Order.

•Thomas Robert Anderson, Jr., 33, Shady Dale—violation of Family Treatment Court Order.

•John Robert Dempsey, 42, Monticello—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Matthew Grady Fletcher, 49, Watkinsville—simple battery.

•Brian Paul Bulson, 42, Monticello—failure to report accident, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

•Adam Lee Phillips, 23, Mansfield—probation violation.

•Demario Quinzon Stanley, 31, Shady Dale—hold for warrant in Newton County.

•Tina Renee Johnson, 43, Mansfield—disorderl yconduct and public drunkenness.

•David Allen Wiggins, 29, Shady Dale—theft by taking.

•Garry Adam Morgan, 33, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce
