Market on the Square Opens May 6

Monticello Market on the Square opens for the season Saturday, May 6. The Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through September.

The Monticello Market is a proud member of Georgia Grown. Each weekend will bring something different, with music and themed events each week.

Shoppers will be able to shop from over 30 vendors for the 2017 season. Market favorites will be on hand too—homemade pies, canned goods, pork skins and boiled peanuts. Many local artisans and craftsmen will be with us as well.

Throughout the Market season shoppers will be able to find in season produce such as tomatoes, peppers, beans, watermelon, corn, eggplant, and okra.

Everyone is encouraged to support the Market and enjoy its wares while visiting with their neighbors.
