Jackson Lake PirateFest Set April 29

The Jackson Lake PirateFest is set for Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Lloyd Shoals Park.

This unique festival is a fund raiser for a lake safety and improvement campaign.

Everyone is invited to attend and to dress like a pirate, browse the arts and crafts market, listen to music, watch the professional wake board exhibition, participate in the costume parades, participate in children’s games and even the cardboard boat races and raffle.

Three bands will be featured including the Tiki Brothers from 10-11:30 a.m., the Mackie Creek Band from 12:30-2 p.m., and Brazen Angel from 4-5:30 p.m.

Cost is $5 for ages 18 and older.
