SEUSS ON THE LOOSE

The Cat in the Hat reads “Oh the Places You’ll Go!” to third graders Jeffrey Hatcher and Cambrion Farley at Washington Park Elementary School as he gets ready for Seuss on the Loose, a Ferst Foundation fund raiser set for Saturday, March 4, at Jasper County High School from 10 a.m. to noon.

The fun-filled morning will offer games and activities for young children, as well as raffles and fun for the child at heart. The annual fund raiser supports reading, and the foundation that sends a book a month to children from the time they sign up near birth until they are five years old.
